What it is
The agent is the AI robot that talks to your customers. It lives inside a project, and a project can have more than one agent.
When you create a project, the platform builds the first agent with you (see Projects). This guide shows where the agent lives, what each tab holds and how a change reaches your customers. Each tab is covered in detail in the Configuring the Agent section.
1. When to use
- Right after creating the project, to get to know the agent screen before changing anything;
- When you’re about to make your first change and want to understand how it goes live.
2. Where to find it
- Open the project.
- In the side menu, click AI Agent Robots.
- On mobile, open the menu with the ☰ icon at the top of the screen.
- In the Chatbots List, click the agent.
The screen opens on the Personality tab.
3. The agent’s tabs
| Tab | What it’s for |
|---|---|
| Personality | Name, first message, tone of voice, goal, tasks and what the agent must not do. This is where you start. See the Personality guide. |
| Flows | Whether the agent answers freely or follows a script with steps, and how it reacts to direct and group messages. |
| Visual | How the chat looks on your website: picture, colors, font and languages. |
| Utilities | Everyday settings, like how long to wait before replying, the reactivation message, ratings and audio transcription. |
| Versions | The history of published versions. You can compare versions and restore an older one. |
| Events | Triggers, like the start or end of a conversation, that fire flows or webhooks automatically. |
| Channels | Where the agent is published, like your website or WhatsApp. The guides are in Publishing. |
Next to the tabs is the Test button, which opens a conversation with the agent.
4. How a change reaches your customers
┌──────────┐ ┌──────────┐ ┌───────────────────┐
│ Save │ ───▶ │ Test │ ───▶ │ Publish version │
│ draft │ │ draft │ │ customers see it │
└──────────┘ └──────────┘ └───────────────────┘
- Save: stores your changes as a draft;
- Test: in the test window, choose Draft to talk to the version you just saved;
- Publish version: puts the draft live. Give the version a name and a description so you can find it later in Versions.
While there’s something saved but not published, the screen shows the notice “There are unpublished changes!”.
📌 First publication: while the agent has no published version, its channels answer with the current draft. Once you publish the first version, customers only see what was published.
💡 Tip: always test before publishing. If a published version didn’t turn out well, you can go back to the previous one in the Versions tab.
5. Configuring each tab
Now that you know the screen, move on to the guide for each tab. Start with Personality, the one that most affects the agent’s answers.

6. Frequently asked questions
I saved, but the agent didn't change for my customers. Why?
If the agent already has a published version, saving only stores the draft. The change goes live after you click Publish version.
How do I test before publishing?
Click Test and choose Draft in the test window. To check what your customers are seeing right now, choose Published.
Can I have more than one agent in the same project?
Yes. They all show up in the Chatbots List, under AI Agent Robots, and each one has its own tabs.
How do I put the agent on my website?
Through the Channels tab. The step by step for each way of publishing is in the Publishing section.
